This position starts at $34.00/hr (or more based on experience and skill certifications). MUST be able to work 3rd shift – $2.25/hr shift differential. Shift 3rd shift (10:00 pm‑6:00 am) Employees must be able to work overtime, holidays and weekends. Execute periodic maintenance routines including lubricating and inspections of machines and equipment for improved reliability and uptime. Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures. Work with machinery and mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic & hydraulic components, conveyor systems, and production line equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and PLC systems. Read diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications for installations. Use hand tools, power tools and precision‑measuring devices and testing instruments. Work with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs. Maintain accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and critical preventative maintenance findings. Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in the safety program. Assist in the development and implementation of reliability‑centered maintenance strategies. Apply simple problem‑solving methods such as 5‑Whys to reduce and eliminate failures. Work in a hot, humid, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment. Be willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 3 or more years of previous maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing or military environment OR a two (2) year mechanical maintenance degree. Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics & pneumatics. Experience with reading mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and precision measurements. Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts. Experience using a computer for record‑keeping and documentation functions. What Will Put You Ahead Associate degree or two (2) years of study from a technical college in the fields of Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Technology. Experience with metal fabricating, torch cutting, and arc welding. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and PLC systems. For this role, we anticipate paying $34.00+ per hour, based on skills and experience. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
