Accounts Payable Specialist - Hybrid Schedule | $60-70K

Are you looking to join a long-established company known for its stability, strong values, and team-oriented culture? We are assisting a long term client with an Accounts Specialist role. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the accounts payable function while working alongside an experienced and supportive accounting group.

What You'll Do:

• Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reports with accuracy and attention to detail
• Review and verify coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Reconcile vendor statements and research any discrepancies
• Assist with weekly payment runs (checks, ACHs, and wires)
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support financial operations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve invoice or payment issues
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and departmental efficiency

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills with both vendors and internal teams
• A team player who values accuracy, dependability, and collaboration
• Experience with ERP or accounting software systems
