Role accountabilities:

As an entry-level Engineer, the primary responsibilities will include designing site layouts and land development engineering plans, preparing earthwork and grading plans, stormwater management plans, and detailed design drawings and specifications. This position encompasses primarily office work (detailed design, technical report writing, data analysis and tabulation) but may occasionally require field work in all weather conditions.

Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Coordination with multi-discipline project teams
• Technical report writing
• Preparation of permitting documents
• Data compilation and analysis

We are seeking a candidate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with strong technical writing skills. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent written communication abilities and possess strong interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, the candidate must have passed the FE exam or show the ability to pass it within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological or Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering
• Experience in technical report writing and preparation
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER
• Ability to travel for extended field assignments lasting up to 2 weeks and beyond.
• Previous industry, consulting, or regulatory internship experience

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $49,390 - $79,023. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
