American Medical Staffing is seeking a CNA Pediatrics for a local contract job in St. Louis, Missouri.

Job Title: Paraprofessional
Location: St. Louis, MO
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment )
Pay Range: $16.00-$22.50 hourly, Pay based on experience *
Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
Hours: ~35 hours/week (based on school bell hours)
Contract Length: 40 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly, Local candidates only – travel stipend not available, 
Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available (please pick 1) 

Requirements

• A minimum of 60 hours of college credits OR
• Associate’s degree or higher OR
• Passing score on Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment OR
• Completion of Missouri’s online Substitute training program OR
• Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.
• From IEP meetings to direct therapy or nursing care, your role will have a lasting impact on the well-being and development of students throughout the academic year.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.
• Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations.
• Write and implement goals and objectives for IEP’s.
• Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
• Work with children in variety of classroom settings and provide additional services depending on the needs of the student population.
