Credentialing Specialist (Enrollment Specialist)

We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in credentialing and enrollment processes within the detail-oriented services sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Complete and submit paper and electronic forms for payors with precision and timeliness.

• Handle contracting credentialing requests, ensuring compliance with company standards.

• Collect licensing and other required documentation from various departments, including Operations, Legal, and Compliance.

• Maintain and track all credentialing activities using company-provided software.

• Safeguard confidential information and update company records as necessary.

• Conduct research, compile data, and create detailed reports to support credentialing processes.

• Assist with special projects and adapt to additional duties as assigned.

• Follow all company policies and procedures while ensuring adherence to industry standards.

• Previous credentialing experience within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid processes is essential.

• At least one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to gather and analyze data, compile reports, and maintain detailed documentation.

• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate in a team setting.

• Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
