Key Responsibilities
Database Design & Modeling: Design, optimize, and implement scalable relational database schemas, tables, and indexes to support business requirements.
PostgreSQL Administration (PaaS): Manage cloud-hosted PostgreSQL instances, including provisioning, configuration, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability.
Security & Compliance: Implement advanced security controls, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access, to meet stringent industry standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, StateRAMP).
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator.
Proven expertise with at least 2 years of managing PostgreSQL Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments in a major public cloud.
Strong practical knowledge of implementing and maintaining PostgreSQL replication strategies and Row-Level Security (RLS).
Experience working in compliance-driven environments, such as those adhering to StateRAMP, FedRAMP, or NIST 800-53.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL development for performance tuning and complex data manipulation.
