Job Title: Hourly Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Two days per week at Village Elementary School
Two days per week at Silver Strand Elementary School
Serving students in grades 2–5
Compensation: $60.00/hour
Position Overview:
Coronado Unified School District is seeking an enthusiastic Instrumental Music Teacher to lead before-school music classes for elementary students in grades 2 through 5. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of music, develop students’ instrumental skills, and create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Teach foundational instrumental music skills to elementary students.
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that foster musical growth.
Prepare students for group performances and showcase opportunities.
Build a welcoming, inclusive environment for young musicians.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching instrumental music to children (preferred).
Proficiency with one or more instruments; ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
No teaching credential required—passion and experience are key.
