Small, family-owned real estate/mortgage office in Astoria, NY looking for handyman / driver.
Handyman responsibilities include garbage and snow removal; cleaning entryways, hallways, and sidewalks; small repairs; meeting with service providers at properties; off-hours emergency response. Also responsible for basic maintenance duties in our office (vacuuming; cleaning 3 small bathrooms; garbage removal).
Driving responsibilities include transporting elderly owner to and from our office, as well as basic maintenance in the owner's home. Other driving duties include providing transportation for the elderly owner to appointments and running office-related errands during the workday (bank deposits, picking up coffee and lunch orders, retrieving rents from tenants).
Full-time position. Potential off-hours emergency response and occasional Saturday work required.
Car in good condition required.
