We are seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to take full ownership of our HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience.

The Role

As the HR Administrative Assistant, you will be the central point of contact for all HR functions. You will manage payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, workers compensation insurance/claims, compliance, and employee support—while leveraging ADP Workforce Now to streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully own all HR administrative functions: payroll, timekeeping, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, workers compensation insurance/claims, compliance, and employee support.
• Optimize and maintain ADP Workforce Now for payroll, time tracking, and benefits administration.
• Support leadership in hiring top-tier talent and maintaining consistent, professional onboarding processes.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring zero missed deadlines or errors.
• Maintain consistency and timeliness of employee reviews.
• Serve as the trusted HR point of contact for employees, fostering clear communication and high satisfaction.
• Handle employee relations with professionalism, confidentiality, and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Required: Proven experience in HR administration, ideally within the construction or related industries.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now .
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, labor law, and best practices.
• Good judgement on when to reach out to HR support for guidance.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Salary based on experience.

Must pass a Drug Screen and a Background Check. Must have references.
