Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Shelter Monitor/ Hypothermia Coordinator in Leesburg, VA

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Welcome clients and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
*Ensure the safety and security of clients, staff, and volunteers by monitoring shelter activities.
*Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when necessary.
*Conduct regular walkthroughs of the facility to address any concerns or hazards.
*Enforce shelter rules and policies while maintaining a respectful and supportive approach.
*Document incidents, client interactions, and rule violations in a timely manner.
*Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure a consistent approach to shelter management.
*Monitor cleanliness and organization of shelter spaces.
*Report and document maintenance issues or safety concerns to appropriate staff.
*Maintain accurate records of shelter attendance and incidents.
*Identify and communicate client needs or concerns to case management or supervisory staff.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* 1 year of experience in a homeless shelter or human services setting
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* TB Test

CLIENT'S HOURS
* Monday-Friday from 12:00am-8:00am
