Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain insulation processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Document production processes and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Processes glass yarns involving operations such as skeining, pump leaching, washing, draining, coating, and drying of yarns, and leaching various weights and weaves of cloths
- Processes glass fiber cloth and fibers, involving such processing as caramelizing, continuous leaching, re-rolling, lift and drain leaching, washing, and drying and firing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing role preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Clean Background check and Drug test Required.
