We are seeking an Inventory Specialist with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs at Blount Island Command (BICmd).

Location:

• This position is located in Jacksonville, FL , with potential for CONUS/OCONUS travel in support of Marine Corps Prepositioning Programs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accountability, tracking, and reconciliation of prepositioned Marine Corps assets across MCPIC, ICODES, and other Authoritative Data Sources (ADS).
• Assist in preparing and validating container and pallet estimates, TAMCN listings, SL-3 associations, and equipment configuration records.
• Maintain and update records of TAMCN-controlled items, COMSEC/CMS material, SSRI/UURI items, and capability package allocations in MCPIC.
• Support the development of Squadron- and Ship-level inventory documentation, ensuring accuracy in load planning, spreadloads, and mission set allocations.
• Provide reports and data extracts to government representatives for use in Tailoring Conferences, MMC planning, and load validation events.
• Assist in the posting of Capability Set Letters, sustainment blocks (Class I–IX), and supporting workbooks into MCPIC.
• Maintain compliance with Marine Corps orders, directives, and policies for inventory control, reconciliation, and data management.
• Support Arrival & Assembly (A&A) operations, regeneration, and reconstitution by validating and reconciling on/offload inventory records.
• Maintain electronic logs, change records, and justification documentation for all inventory adjustments or reconciliations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with logistics inventory management, reconciliation, and reporting in DoD or USMC environments.

Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• BS: 0-2 yrs exp.
• HS: 4-6 yrs exp.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with MCPIC, ICODES, GCSS-MC, and TFSMS.
• Prior USMC supply/logistics MOS experience (e.g., 3043, 3051, 0431) or equivalent DoD logistics background.
• Experience with prepositioning programs, shipboard load planning, or sealift operations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in joint contractor-government environments.
