We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Irrigation Operations Manager to lead and oversee the company's operation of its irrigation systems and irrigation personnel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of our clients' landscapes through expert management of irrigation repairs and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems across the company’s vast array of commercial and residential properties
• Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective irrigation services
• Manage and supervise irrigation personnel, providing guidance, training and performance evaluations
• Coordinate with office staff, irrigation technicians, and clients to schedule and prioritize irrigation work
• Ensure proper winterization and start-up of all systems in a timely manner
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to determine irrigation needs and develop tailored solutions
• Review inspections
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and environmental best practices
• Monitor and control budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system specifications
• Maintain and monitor proper irrigation inventory at shop
• Assist in the proper maintenance of irrigation vehicles and equipment
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in irrigation management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge in Low Voltage Lighting
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of landscape irrigation design, irrigation software, controllers, and water management principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate relevant equipment
• Relevant certifications or licenses in irrigation or landscape management are preferred
