Cooking menu items and preparing food for service in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Ensuring that food is of high quality and served in a timely fashion
Executing demands efficiently in a high volume restaurant
Setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies
Stocking inventory
Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Previous experience is preferred, but not required
Understanding of ingredients, equipment, procedures and various cooking methods
Basic knife skills
Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
Able to stoop and bend
Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
Able to comply with safety and health code standards
Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
