Vizmeg Landscape, Inc., located in Stow, OH, has been serving customers in Northeast Ohio for over 30 years. “Utilizing our knowledge, experience, and imagination, to create a legacy of enjoying the outdoors”.

We require a talented LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/ DESIGNER who is driven and capable of assisting senior staff in landscape design, estimating, and managing projects from lead to completion.

Our Ideal candidate will possess the following skill set and educational requirements:

• Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Able to translate Comments, Redlines, and sketches into working drawings/documents.
• Ability to produce accurate take-offs for related designs.
• Skillful with construction drawings, including construction detailing, dimensioned layouts, and grading plans
• Skillful with presentations utilizing Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, and hand rendering
• Tech-savvy, including expertise with Microsoft Office
• Skilled in managing a high volume of tasks and enjoy meeting deadlines
• Excellent in both spoken and written communications
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or similar
• Five years’ experience required.

Responsibilities of this position included, but were not limited to:

• The primary responsibility of this position is to interface with sales and project managers and assist with any stage of a project willingly, quickly, efficiently, and accurately. We foster a team effort to help us meet deadlines.
• Creation of base plans; accurately locating existing elements such as residences, walls, walkways, driveways, trees, etc. Clearly define property lines, setbacks, utilities, and other relevant features.
• Assist in design development and sales/presentation drawings for residential and commercial properties.
• Compile accurate information for project estimating and assist sales and project managers with estimation.
• Creation of detailed construction drawings; Hardscape Layout plan, Details plan, Planting Plan, and Lighting/Irrigation plan. Compilation of information to hand off to Production for project construction.
• Be engaged and bring new ideas to the table
