Locum Tenens General Dentist - New Mexico
Facility Locations: Alamogordo, NM 88310 and Farmington, NM 87401
Assignment Dates : January 2026 - Ongoing ( Client prefers initial 3-month commitment, with option to extend and temporary to permanent candidates are welcome))
Schedule/Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and every other Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Patient Volume: 15-17 patients per day
Patient Ages: All ages including children
Types of Cases: General Dentistry Cases including hygiene exams, restorative cases, and extractions
Support Staff : 1 Office Manager, 2 dedicated dental assistants, 2 dental hygienists, and front desk staff
Type of Charting : currently using Dentrix and transitioning to Curve in February 2026
Requirements : Must be enrolled with NM Medicaid, New Mexico Dental license, DEA Registration, and BLS certified.
Reason for Need: Vacancy
Credentialing Timeframe: 48 to 72 hours
Pay Rate: Negotiable
