We're excited to invite a skilled professional to join our Myrtle Beach team as a Full-Time Medical Assistant. Medical Assistant Responsibilities: (Included, but not limited to)

· Assisting all Doctors/Nurses/Reps/Coordinators/Managers in support of delivering expert medical care to our patients

· Direct interaction with patients (Greeting/Collecting intake info/Setting up Exam Rooms/Phone Calls, etc.)

· Other Day-to-day activities include fax correspondence, point-of-care testing, preparing/assisting for surgical procedures

· Deliver our mission of bringing state-of-the-art expertise and patient care to our clientele.

Requirements of the Medical Assistant:

· Completion of a technical/vocational training school program with either CMA, AAMA, RMA, or CCMA Medical Assistant certification -OR-

· Emergency Medical Technician certification; as well as a high school diploma or equivalent preferred

· BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification

· Medical Assistant experience or the equivalent thereof in a high-volume medical setting with the ability to read, write and interpret medical terminology

· Scheduling flexibility to be able work morning/afternoon/evening hours four to five days per week as needed

· Demonstrated ability and strong commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service principles

· Positive and energetic attitude which inspires other team members

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills with an ability to remain focused under pressure

· Aptitude to communicate effectively, balance multiple tasks, set priorities, and solve problems independently or in a group.

· Technology proficiency is critical, including previous EMR/EHR experience as well as working knowledge of Microsoft software products such as Word and Outlook,

· Scribe/Document for physician while in the room.

This position will require the ability to work the following hours:

All MAs are full time 40 hours. The specific daily schedule varies depending on provider and location
