Music Analytics & Reporting Specialist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s entertainment client.
Remote anywhere in the US, (Must work EST hours)
If based in Los Angeles, this role will be hybrid M-TH in office.

Duration: Estimated 8 weeks (This may change as its for leave coverage)
Location: Remote anywhere in the US (Must work East Coast hours)
Location Notes : If based in Los Angeles, candidate will work hybrid in the office M-TH on site.
Schedule: M-F Standard business hours (40 hrs per week)
Pay Rate: $60 per hour Max (Based on experience)
Team: Insights & Reporting team
Ideal candidate
- Music industry experience (OR entertainment, Music background highly preferred)
- Requires strong familiarity / expertise with SQL , dashboard tools such as Tableau (or Power BI / Looker ), and ideally Alteryx .
- Strong analytical / technical skills
- Must be highly detail oriented
- Able to communicate well with other team members and executives.
- Friendly, willing to help and a team player
- Manages time well, able to prioritize
Job Description
- Utilize internal and external business intelligence and data analytics tools to generate reports + analyses spanning new releases, charting, streaming trends and overall industry performance.
- Maintain + frequently enhances a range of automated recurring reports, processes, and dashboards that provide streaming, playlist, social media, sales and charts information in support of our labels.
- Respond to a high volume of ad hoc data requests to answer business critical questions on tracks, albums, artists, playlists, charts, sales performance, etc.
- Work with internal technology + engineering teams to resolve technical data issues and recommend enhancements ensuring data integrity/accuracy
Qualifications
- Requires strong familiarity / expertise with SQL , dashboard tools such as Tableau (or Power BI / Looker ), and ideally Alteryx . (Dashboard exp)
- Prior experience in recorded music ideally (or similar related field)
- Passion for music a must.
- Strong analytical skills
