Patient Accounts Team Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Accounts Supervisor to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a team responsible for managing patient billing and accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high performance and professional development
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal procedures
- Daily/weekly Performance Reports
- Assist with Production Manager duties including but not limited to: interviewing, scheduling and performance reviews
- Handles complex requests such as escalated calls
- Holds production meetings to review job status, metrics, workflow issues, and roadblocks
- Serves as a member of the organizations overall success by contributing, supporting and improving recovery, patient satisfaction and team morale
- Monthly contract meetings
- Interviewing/staffing
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in patient accounts, medical billing, or healthcare finance
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of healthcare billing software
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
