Job Description
Program Manager Location (Hybrid/Remote): Atlanta, Georgia – (Hybrid, 3x week onsite) Con/C2H (Length)/DH: Direct Hire Compensation: $145K - $180K plus benefits and bonus (Up to $10K) Duties/Responsibilities:
Develops and monitors project progress phases from initial development through implementation
Analyze the economics of a project plan to advise stakeholders regarding return on investment and cost benefit analysis
Works directly with Engineering Resource Management to obtain engineering resources for the project
Determines multiple project delivery schedules, maintaining and adjusting schedule as needed during the project delivery lifecycle
Establishes regular cadence review meetings to maintain schedule pace and to provide timely project updates and communications to the customer
Tracks multiple projects, managing short and long-term targets and goals
Manages performance of multiple projects, both customers sided, and company sided
Manages scope and deliverables of the project, carefully managing to the deliverables purchased and expected by the customer
Provides upward communication within company to supply project status and gives feedback to Project Managers
Manages PO delivery financial requirements
Facilitates invoicing requirements across multiple projects
Manages multiple projects billing milestones, notifying Finance department of appropriate billing requirements and billing backlog timeline Seniority Level: 8+years of professional experience / at least 5 years in a PM specific role Required Skills:
Active Secret Clearance
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Minimum 5 years in Program Management role
Experienced managing program P/L
Must know ETC (Estimate to Complete) and EAC (Estimate at Completion)
Experienced managing program schedules
Previous development or technical experience (strongly preferred)
Degree and professional experience would be ideal
Aptitude to understand details of technical requirements is a minimum
Great written and verbal communication skills (Required)
Skilled at communicating technical concepts to customers as well as internal stakeholders in a clear, concise manner Preferred Skills:
Previous technical background in programming or networking is a plus
Familiarity with scripting or programming is a plus
Familiarity with software development cycle is a plus
