Fit Recruiting is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee each project for a local manufacturing company in Spanish Fort. This role will coordinate sales, engineering, production, and warehousing to ensure orders are fulfilled on time. The position offers a salary in the $80K-$100K range, depending on experience.

Duties:

• Create clear project plans, quotes, schedules, and success goals.
• Turn customer needs into clear tasks with the Sales team.
• Work with Engineering on drawings, approvals, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production on workloads, timing, and capacity.
• Partner with Warehousing on packaging, labeling, quality checks, and shipping.
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, and key performance metrics.
• Spot risks early and adjust plans to stay on track.
• Share regular, transparent project updates.
• Run decision-making meetings and escalate issues quickly.
• Review timesheets, invoices, and budgets to keep spending accurate.
• Find process bottlenecks and lead efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years managing cross-functional projects—ideally in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Solid grasp of production workflows, logistics, and formal project-management methodologies; PMP/Prince2 a plus.
• Proficiency with project-management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
• Strong communicator, natural collaborator, and decisive problem-solver with a track record of meeting deadlines and budgets.
