Psychiatry - Physician at Novant Health - Charlotte market - Novant Health summary:

This role is for a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist focused on women's mental health at Novant Health's SouthPark office, providing outpatient care for females aged 16 and older. Responsibilities include direct patient care, data-driven program development, supervision of advanced practice providers, and community engagement through education and advocacy. Novant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our SouthPark office, serving as a key member of the Women's Center for Mental Health. This position is uniquely focused on women's mental health, supporting patients ages 16 and older through a holistic, evidence-based approach. The ideal candidate will have expertise in women's mental health and an interest in community engagement, and education. In addition to direct patient care, responsibilities include, contributing to data-driven program development, and participating in public speaking engagements to promote awareness and advocacy for women’s mental wellness.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Outpatient clinic hours, Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm to include occasional work beyond the 8-5 schedule
  • Patient Population: women ages 16+
  • On-Call Duty: Up to 2 weeks per year
