Publishing Company located in Scranton, PA is looking for individuals with contract review or legal document review experience to assist their Royalty Department on a  temporary contract basis .

• Responsible for input or review of contractual information including but not limited to royalty rates, advance installments, subsidiary rights splits, joint accounting, etc.
• Responsible for questioning and confirming contractual information that appears to be inaccurate.
• Assist with identifying and setting up products onto relevant contracts.
• Responsible for special projects as deemed necessary.
• Works with departmental supervisors, managers, or director when necessary.
  
  

• A minimum of 1 year in a corporate accounting, finance, or royalty department is desired.
• Experience in book publishing is preferred.
• Paralegal or 1 year of experience with contract language and interpretation is required.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Prior experience using Klopotek Royalty Software and/or JD Edwards Financial Software is a plus.
