We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Trainer with a strong background in the United States medical supply or pharmaceutical wholesale industry to equip our sales team with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to excel. The individual will learn Pipeline's internal systems, product, and opportunity as it presents in the marketplace and oversee the training of new employees and existing employees to ensure they can perform at the highest level.

Every customer is supported by a dedicated account manager who provides white-glove service. Acting as an extension of each customer’s materials management team, Pipeline Medical ensures contract compliance, manages sourcing and allocations, connects to national contracts, and delivers data-driven recommendations to maximize savings and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Program Development

  • Oversee internal training for new employees from day one, on how to optimize and utilize Pipeline's internal systems and tools, to the products and offerings we provide.
  • Provide continual training for existing employees.
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive sales training programs tailored for the US healthcare market.
  • Create onboarding and continuous learning modules to equip new hires and existing sales staff with product knowledge, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitation & Delivery of training modules.
  • Conduct engaging, interactive, and practical training sessions, including role-plays, sales simulations, and scenario-based learning.
  • Deliver training via in-person sessions, webinars, and e-learning platforms.

Sales Performance Enhancement

  • Coach and mentor sales team members to improve skills in prospecting, relationship building, consultative selling, and closing.
  • Provide targeted training to address identified performance gaps.
  • Industry Knowledge & Compliance
  • Keep training content up-to-date with changes in the healthcare landscape.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Partner with Sales Managers and Leadership to identify training needs based on KPIs and business goals.
  • Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and sales performance data.
  • Recommend adjustments to training programs based on results and evolving market needs.

Mentorship Program & Onboarding Support

  • Oversee and manage the Sales Mentorship Program to help new hires integrate smoothly into the organization.
  • Assign experienced sales team members as “mentors to new hires, ensuring they have a go-to person for day-to-day questions and guidance.
  • Monitor the buddy-new hire relationship to ensure it fosters confidence, teamwork, and role clarity.
  • Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure all onboarding activities are completed efficiently and effectively.

Industry - Healthcare Industry

Requirements

Experience working within Medical Supply Distribution or Pharmaceutical Wholesaling

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Sales, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Sales Trainer or Sales Enablement Specialist,

Strong knowledge of US healthcare market dynamics, terminology,, and compliance requirements.

Proven track record in designing and delivering sales training programs that drive measurable improvements.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) and e-learning tools.

Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to fast-paced environments.

Experience in medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare technology sales.

Coaching certification or training facilitation certification.

Data-driven approach to evaluating training success.
