We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP Lead Developer (Senior Consultant) to design, develop, and implement scalable SAP solutions within S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate should have hands?on expertise in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP), RAP (Restful ABAP Programming), Adobe Forms, and extensibility frameworks in Public Cloud. The role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership ability, and collaboration skills to drive digital transformation initiatives effectively.

Role Overview

As a Senior Consultant and Lead Developer, you will lead the technical design, customization, and enhancement of SAP applications. You will collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the delivery of efficient, secure, and high?performance solutions. This role will focus on modern SAP extensibility techniques, RAP, Fiori/UI5 development, and integration across SAP Cloud and On?Premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom SAP applications using RAP and CAP models within S/4HANA environments.
• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and extensions for end?user interfaces.
• Work with Adobe Forms and other document generation tools to support business reporting and document management requirements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, clean code principles, and extensibility frameworks.
• Manage technical integration with third?party systems using OData, REST APIs, and CDS Views.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure quality assurance across development deliverables.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
• Support system testing, deployment, and post?go?live stabilization activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA development including ABAP RAP (Restful Application Programming Model).
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Gateway development.
• Hands?on expertise with Adobe Forms, Public Cloud extensibility, and CAP model implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and integration technologies such as CPI.
• Strong understanding of SAPs clean core strategy and cloud development principles.
• Experience working in agile project environments with strong problem?solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience working in SAP On?Premise systems alongside Cloud deployments.
• Exposure to SAP BTP services, workflow automation, and business rules framework.
• Understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of performance optimization and system monitoring tools.

Certifications & Preferred Tools

• SAP Certified Consultant (Preferred)
• Tools: SAP RAP, CAP, Adobe Forms, Fiori/UI5, and SAP BTP.
