Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our vaccination team. In this role, you will play an essential part in administering vaccines and injectable medications, providing patient education, and supporting community health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines in accordance with established protocols and state regulations
• Review patient histories and screen for contraindications prior to vaccination
• Educate patients on vaccine benefits, side effects, and aftercare
• Administer additional injectable medications or therapies as directed
• Maintain accurate and confidential vaccination records
• Follow all safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care
• Participate in community outreach or mobile vaccination efforts as needed

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN licensure with authorization to administer vaccines in the State of Wisconsin
• Prior experience administering vaccines and injections
• Excellent patient communication and education skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Flexibility to travel to off-site or in-home vaccination locations
• Commitment to promoting public health and patient safety
