Job Description

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department, supporting both domestic and international accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a quick learner of systems and processes, and be an effective communicator, which will align successfully in the organization. 

Job Title:  Senior Accountant

Location:  Buffalo, NY (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $35-45/hour

Duration: 12-18 months

Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What’s the Job?

• Prepare and record journal entries in SAP
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and generate supporting reports
• Support month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial processes and reporting

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA/CA preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in technical accounting roles
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with multinational entities
• Proficiency in SAP ECC/S4HANA, OneStream, and Excel (advanced)
• Experience with intercompany accounting, consolidations, and financial analysis
