Description:

The Shipping and Receiving role supports the company by ensuring timely, accurate ordering, receiving, stocking, and organization of parts, minimizing parts cycle times. This position requires consistent collaboration with sales, service, and parts teams to boost overall efficiency.

1. Receive and stock incoming freight accurately and efficiently, and assist with general inventory organization.  Reconcile against the manufacturer’s invoices for accuracy.
2. Assist with organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of the 10-bin staging area to reduce clutter and improve accessibility.
3. Return and restock unused parts from completed or canceled repair orders promptly and accurately.
4. Monitor inventory levels of fast-moving service parts and communicate with the Parts Manager to avoid stockouts.
5. Support the parts counter team as needed, including answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, and making customer callbacks.
6. Ship parts to remote customers. This includes packaging, labeling, collecting freight and tax charges, and coordinating delivery logistics.
7. Maintain a clean, organized, professional workspace and a well-structured parts storage system.
8. Support and enhance overall service department efficiency through clear communication, timely parts delivery, and task prioritization.
9. Make recommendations to the Service Manager and Parts Manager on process improvements, inventory needs, or efficiency gains.
10. Perform other duties as directed by the Parts Manager.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Lift, bend, move, and stand for long periods of time.

Fluency in English.

Attention to detail.

Basic facility with computers and windows software.
