Job Title: Senior Epic Project Manager (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Fort Worth, TX – Hybrid (2 days on site Tuesdays & Wednesdays, even during contract period). Must live in Texas. Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview A large hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking an experienced Senior Epic Project Manager to join its dynamic PMO. This role will focus primarily on Epic Clinical initiatives rather than digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing large-scale Epic implementations within hospital environments and possess proven ability to coordinate complex, cross‑functional projects in clinical settings. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Epic Clinical projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to define project goals, success metrics, and deliverables. Oversee multiple concurrent initiatives across hospital departments supported by the PMO. Ensure adherence to established PMO methodologies, standards, and reporting processes. Manage project risks, issues, and change control processes effectively. Coordinate with Epic analysts, application teams, and clinical leadership to ensure optimal implementation and workflow integration. Provide clear, consistent communication and status reporting to executive and operational leadership. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO and project delivery processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred). PMP certification required. CSM (Certified Scrum Master) is highly preferred. 10+ years of direct project management experience, with at least 7+ years managing EHR systems projects. 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Epic clinical application modules. 5+ years working within a structured PMO environment. Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is required. Experience with Telehealth projects is a plus. Please send your resume for immediate consideration.
