- Worksite Location: Remote
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: 8am-5pm MST, Monday-Friday
- Compensation: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Systems Administrator: - Administer and maintain the Okta Identity Cloud platform in a production environment
- Configure and enforce Okta authentication policies (MFA, sign-on, password, device trust) and enrollment policies to align with organizational security requirements
- Manage Identity Lifecycle Management (IDM) processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and entitlement reviews
- Design, implement, and support Identity-Driven Access (IDA) and role-based access control frameworks
- Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with applications using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM
- Manage Okta Workflows for automation of identity-related tasks
- Perform directory integrations (Active Directory, LDAP, and cloud directories)
- Partner with Security and IT teams to enforce identity security best practices and compliance standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve authentication and authorization issues
- Document configurations, processes, and identity management procedures
What you’ll bring to the Systems Administrator role: - 3–5+ years of experience administering and supporting Okta Identity Cloud in an enterprise setting
- Okta Certified Administrator (or higher) credential
- Strong understanding of MFA policies, enforcement, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Identity Management (IDM) processes and lifecycle automation
- Knowledge of Identity-Driven Access (IDA) and role-based access control
- Experience integrating applications using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM
- Familiarity with Okta Workflows for identity process automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication, provisioning, and access-related issues
- Experience with directory integrations (Active Directory, LDAP, or cloud directories)
- Knowledge of IAM security best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work across IT, Security, and business teams
- Strong skills in documentation, governance, and process improvement
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their identity integrations
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
