Technical SEO Lead We are a remote-first organization hiring specifically within 60 miles of the following cities: Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; and Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities Lead the execution of technical SEO strategies in alignment with the Strategy Director for Fortune 500 Brands. Contribute to the thought leadership of accounts and suggest improvements or adjustments to the current technical strategy to the Strategy Director. Serve as the technical, client‑facing lead to effectively communicate the opportunity for and value of website changes, updates, and performance recommendations. Maintain a precise understanding of Terakeet product offerings and the steps associated with how our cross‑functional teams execute to achieve client outcomes. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and account leadership to ensure client objectives are met. Coordinate with (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) to prepare and deliver presentations to clients on: Data‑driven insights, technical findings and recommendations, and industry research. Competitive and market opportunity analyses as they relate to search intent, competitor niche saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies. Nurture the craft by ensuring quality assurance across the team’s final outputs: Review final outputs from the (Sr.) SEO Analyst(s) on projects and develop related recommendations to ensure deliverables are client‑facing ready. Examples of projects include keyword research, page/sitewide analysis, site structure best practices, and opportunity assessments. Lead a team of (Sr.) SEO Analysts by conducting regular performance evaluations, facilitating career development discussions, identifying areas for improvement, and providing consistent positive and constructive feedback. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred – Concentration in Marketing or a related field. 3‑4 years+ of professional work experience in a related role with exposure to how marketing campaigns impact natural search visibility. Proven ability to present in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization. Proven team leadership qualities, including the ability to offer positive reinforcement, hold others accountable, and provide constructive feedback when appropriate. Ability to tailor management approach based on individual needs. Proven ability to interact successfully with cross‑functional teams and build collaborative relationships. Keen attention to detail is essential to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency when assessing client outputs. Experience identifying key performance indicators and success metrics given knowledge and understanding of client‑specific business goals. Experience deriving technical insight from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and directly from SERPs. Knowledge of technical, usability, and content‑related aspects of a website and their impact on search. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
