Job Details

Mental Health Coordinator position responsible for planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on review of records and clinical interviews with inmates.
Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities used for individuals in caseload.
Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of inmates.

Job Requirements

Five (5) years of clinical experience including two (2) years in a comparable job position.
