Job Title: Psych Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-Week Contract

Overview:
\nMedical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Psych Registered Nurse to join a reputable Behavioral Health Facility in Clive, Iowa. This critical role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in mental health care while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. If you are an experienced RN with a passion for behavioral health, this position provides a chance to advance your career on a rewarding 12-week assignment.

Pay Package:
\n$50 per hour, with weekly direct deposit and additional travel and housing stipends available.

\n

Required Skills:

\n

\n
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)\n
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings\n
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association\n
• Strong communication and patient care skills\n
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM\n

Preferred Education and Experience:

\n
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred but not required)\n
• Previous experience in a behavioral health facility or psychiatric unit\n
• Familiarity with psychiatric treatments and patient management in a fast-paced environment\n

Other Requirements:

\n
• Valid state nursing license\n
• Ability to work overnight shifts as scheduled\n
• No additional certifications required beyond BLS, but additional relevant certifications are a plus\n
