Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for outpatient OB/GYN sonography with required RDMS-ABD and OB/GYN credentials.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient radiology suite with one dedicated ultrasound room in an office park setting
• Perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams including first, second, and third trimester as well as GYN and transvaginal studies
• Serve an outpatient patient population with a 1:1 clinician-to-patient ratio
• Use Epic EMR system for charting; Epic experience preferred
• Monday through Friday, day shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No floating or rotating shifts required
• Primary duties include independently performing and documenting OB and GYN ultrasound procedures for an outpatient population
• No holiday or weekend coverage required
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital; local rate may apply
• Parking may incur additional daily costs depending on location
• Scrub dress code as per departmental policy
• Two references required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an ultrasound technologist
• Current RDMS-ABD and RDMS-OB/GYN certifications required
• Skilled in OB credentialing, OB scanning, and GYN scanning
• Proof of MA licensure required at the time of consideration; no conditional licenses accepted (License required if applicable)
• Certifications must be AHA only
• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
