What You'll Do:

• Lead jury trials in high-stakes medical malpractice and wrongful death cases
• Represent injured clients from intake through verdict
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and legal memos
• Take and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements that reflect your client's true losses
• Attend court appearances and occasional in-office client meetings
• Collaborate with litigation paralegals, trial paralegals, and our new case managers

 

What You Bring:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the New York Bar
• Experience in at least 3 jury trials
• Deep understanding of New York med mal and personal injury law
• Strong advocacy skills in voir dire, cross-exam, and closing
• Empathy, bedside manner, and a calling to serve
• Hunger to master your craft and grow as a trial lawyer

 

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $150,000/year
• Bonus Compensation: In addition to your base salary, you'll earn a generous performance-based bonus equal to 5% to 8% of the firm's legal fee on every assigned case. This is not a cap—your earning potential rises with every verdict, every settlement, and every client you fight for. You will have the potential to exceed six figures in bonus compensation alone.
