Job Description

SUMMARY

Process daily revenue by verifying sellers receipts and sales, balancing deposits, and entering data into computer. Bus tables and general help in restaurant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  1. Protects company operations by keeping sensitive information confidential.
  2. Maintains balanced vault inventory by auditing and counting petty cash monies twice daily.
  3. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  4. Provides change to sales locations as needed.
  5. Reconciles cash sheets from various sales locations by comparing the counted receipts to the reported sales.
  6. Prepares daily bank deposits by assembling monies from sellers, entering the data into the computer and balancing the receipts and sales.
  7. Disburses money by completing petty cash transactions.
  8. Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:

  1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests at all times.
  2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
  3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
  4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
  5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.
  6. Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Proficient on 10-Key machine. Some knowledge of computer data entry. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Basic education (high school) plus two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience from which knowledge and skills have been acquired.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Good communication skills. Provides service to various departmental employees and their needs for cash, or to cash out their daily receipts.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills.
