Seeking a highly qualified candidate to provide policy, technical, and programmatic staff support for the life-cycle management of the Department of Defense (DoD) Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Enterprise Primary Responsibilities:
• Support the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) in assessing and analyzing emerging GPS, PNT, and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) technologies for current and future PNT Enterprise systems.
• Assist in updating existing policies and developing new PNT policies to ensure effective implementation across the DoD PNT Enterprise.
• Analyze GPS, PNT, and NAVWAR compliance data from the Services to assess alignment with PNT oversight requirements.
• Promote PNT resilience by drafting and editing white papers, reports, and staff packages for senior DoD leadership.
• Support the DoD CIO in tracking modernization efforts of the PNT Enterprise, including M-Code implementation and alternative PNT capabilities.
• Facilitate GPS testing and training policy coordination between the DoD CIO, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and interagency partners to enhance NAVWAR readiness.

Education and Experience
• Masters’ degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant professional experience. Qualifications
• Candidate possesses working knowledge of GPS and alternate sources PNT
• Must have Pentagon staff experience Required
• TS/SCI eligibility day one.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Desired
The ideal candidate has prior experience in the following areas:
• Extensive Pentagon staff experience within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, and/or the Military Services.
• Familiarity with the PNT Enterprise and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) operations.
• Background in space systems, satellite communications, or test range operations.
• Experience in space operations with a functional understanding of space systems
