About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Advisor for Global Safeguarding Prevention. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the global safeguarding prevention and preparedness team, overseeing the strategic approach to safeguarding prevention, preparedness, risk management, and capability building. This role requires a strong focus on ensuring that the company's safeguarding standards and practices are continuously improved and that partners are equipped with high-quality, sustainable safeguarding practices. The Senior Advisor will also be involved in key inter-agency alliances and coalitions, contributing to the company's leadership in safeguarding and ensuring that its work in partnership with others is safe. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of experience in an international NGO, with at least 5 years' in a safeguarding or related function. A Master's degree in a relevant field is required, or equivalent field experience. The role demands expertise in child and adult safeguarding issues, emergency relief, and the UN CRC, as well as excellent analytical, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. The Senior Advisor will be expected to provide technical leadership, support capacity building, and engage in external partnerships. Strong organizational, initiative, and communication skills are essential, with proficiency in English and a preference for candidates with French or Spanish language skills. The position is remote, with a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
