We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Power Apps to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain dynamic reports, dashboards, and applications that provide actionable insights and improve business processes. Based in Chula Vista, California, this position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze user requirements to define Key Performance Indicators and identify relevant data sources.
• Create and maintain interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards with visually compelling data visualizations.
• Develop and enhance Microsoft Power Apps to streamline business operations and meet organizational needs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting and application solutions.
• Optimize the performance of dashboards and applications for speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and functionality.
• Provide user training and create basic documentation to support non-technical users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and gather feedback.
• Integrate data from various sources, including databases and Excel, to create comprehensive reporting solutions.
• Monitor and maintain applications, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness over time.• Proven experience designing and developing Power BI and Tableau dashboards (2+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in creating Power Apps and integrating them with other services offered by the same provider (2+ years preferred).
• Familiarity with SharePoint environments and their integration with reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and performance.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills to work across teams and gather input from multiple stakeholders.
• Preferred: Certifications in Power BI or related technologies (e.g., Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
• Preferred: Experience with integrating Power Apps into enterprise systems like Dynamics 365 or Office 365.
