Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health – Massachusetts

Start Date: January 26, 2026

Location: Lenox, Massachusetts

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Possible on-call requirements.

Highlights:

• Work on a 20-bed detox unit providing critical substance abuse and chemical dependency care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, clinical nurse specialists, psychologists, and social workers
• Meditech Expanse EMR system utilized (strongly preferred experience)
• 13-week assignment with 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Part of a comprehensive mental health program serving approximately 12,000 patients annually
• Professional dress code allows personal scrubs of any color

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of current Behavioral Health experience (required)
• At least 6 months of previous travel nursing experience (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Agency must hold a valid Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Current skills checklist for Behavioral Health (within 1 year)
