- Worksite Location: Eagan, MN
- Compensation: $55.00 per hour
What you’ll do as the Business Systems Analyst: - Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, concise requirements for software or system development
- Develop detailed documentation that outlines how software or systems should function to meet business requirements
- Develop the overall UAT strategy, including test plans, scenarios, and scripts
- Lead and coordinate testing activities, ensuring timely completion of testing within the project timeline
- Identify, track, and escalate defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties to facilitate testing and address issues
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Guide and mentor the UAT team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support
What you need to become the Business Systems Analyst: - Ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and develop logical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in test management tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM for test case management and defect tracking
- Understanding of Agile principles and the ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and basic technical concepts
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers
